Welcome to the Baby Boomers’ Weekend Activity Guide, a featured segment of our podcast where listeners across the U.S. can discover exciting local events and share what’s happening in their cities and states.


Whether it’s a community fair, art walk, jazz night, or nature hike — this is your space to connect, contribute, and help others make the most of their weekends.


How it Works?
Listeners submit upcoming activities in their area, and we feature them in our monthly Weekend Activity Guide on our website.

Listeners will be able to visit our website to view upcoming Activities happening in their desired City.


This initiative helps create our Real Nitty Gritty Community connections and gives Boomers everywhere fresh, fun, and fulfilling ideas for how to enjoy their weekends.

GUIDELINES TO SUBMIT A WEEKEND ACTIVITY ON THE WEBSITE:

  1. MUST BE A PODCAST SUBSCRIBER. (Visit youtube.com/realnittygrittypodcast.com, click “Subscribe” and “Notification icon”)
  2. Activity MUST be submitted by the 15th of the current month to appear on the Activity Guide for the following month. (if the deadline is missed, announcements can be made at the appropriate time in the chat during the podcast)
  3. List details of Event/Activity, i.e., the Date, Time, Address, website.
  4. Submissions will appear on the Weekend Activity Guide on a first-come basis as space permits. No guarantee that Subscriber’s submission will appear on Activity Guide.
  5. Late submissions are not accepted.
